Access Counseling Group DWI First Offender Education ClassÂ
Access Counseling Group offers the required 12-hour DWI First Offender Education Class. This in-person class is typically held every 4th weekend at our office in Frisco, Texas. Registration and payment must be in advance. The cost of the class is $75. A certificate is provided upon completion. We do not offer the DWI repeat offender class at this time.
Article 42.12, Section 13(h), Code of Criminal Procedure requires a person convicted of first-offense DWI and receiving probation, to attend and successfully complete an educational program certified by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Failure to complete the program within 180 days (unless an extension was granted) from the date probation was granted will result in the offender’s license being revoked. The license cannot be reinstated until the educational program is completed. The standardized program is 12 hours in length.
The DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) First Offender Education course is offered monthly at Access Counseling Group.
The typical schedule is:
Friday, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
